By the decision of the Legal Aid Board of March 8, 2023, Davit Simonia was elected to the position of the Director of the LEPL Legal Aid Service (LAS).
Davit Simonia previously held the position of Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service, and headed the Analytical Department of the same organization in 2019-2022.
D.Simonia worked in various public agencies as a lawyer in the human rights protection.
Davit Simonia graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) with a Bachelor's degree in 2011, and he was conferred a Master's degree at the same University in 2019. As of today, D. Simonia is a TSU doctoral student.
