On September 30, the Ukrainian House in Batumi was visited by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Legal Aid Service (LAS) representatives. Head of the Information, Analytics and International Relations Department Maia Nozadze gave the overview of the LAS services to Ukrainians residing in Georgia.
The gathered audience was briefed by the Head of the Specialized Cases Bureau Teona Kvernadze and attorney Tea Kaulashvili, on recent legislative amendments in this field, as well as the requirements for long-term stay of foreign nationals in Georgia.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ukrainian citizens received individual legal consultations, which proved to be beneficial for them.
The event was held with the support of the United Nations Development Program and the Government of Germany. Ivane Chitashvili, Project Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program, took part in it.
