The Mtskheta District Court fully satisfied the request of Natia Berdzenishvili, Mtskheta Legal Aid Bureau attorney, who demanded payment of 15,000 GEL from the person convicted of violence, to a disabled child, as a compensation of the moral damage, and 300 GEL for the benefit of the Legal Aid Service.
It is important to highlight that all three courts of instance have found the defendant guilty. Following the lawsuit's filing, the Mtskheta District Court accepted the case and committed the defendant to the penitentiary institution. When the defendant failed to respond within the allotted period, the lawyer filed an application with the court asking for a decision to be made in absentia. All of Natia Berdzenishvili's lawsuit's demands were acknowledged by the court and satisfied.
