With the assistance from UN Women, a seminar on "Legal Mechanisms for the Protection and Assistance of Victims of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence" was conducted for attorneys and psychologist-consultants of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) from November 13 to 15, 2025.
First Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service Nino Meladze and UN Women Project Manager Lika Sidamonidze opened the training.
The session on the psychological impacts of violence against women and domestic violence was led by UN Women Consultant, Psychologist Keti Tavartkiladze, while the legal aspects of the crime were reviewed by legal expert and UN Women Consultant Goga Khatiashvili.
