On April 13, the LAS Rustavi Bureau lawyers held information meeting in Pholadaantkari village, Gardabani district.
In the framework of the visit, the public lawyers talked with the local population about rights of victims of domestic violence, also legal responsibility established for perpetrators. The focus was made on free legal advocacy service which is available for victims of domestic violence (if they meet insolvency criteria).
One of the priorities of Legal Aid Service is to raise public awareness on domestic violence issues.
