A meeting on "Career in the Legal Profession" was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on September 29, 2023. It was organized by the Legal Aid Service and the USAID Rule of Law Program.
David Simonia, Director of the Legal Aid Service, and Rusudan Tabatadze, Rule of Law Project Manager of the USAID/Caucasus Democracy and Governance Office opened the event. Giorgi Chkheidze , Head of USAID Rule of Law Program, Yamze Zandaradze , Head of Batumi Bureau of Legal Aid Service, and Khatuna Bolkvadze , Judge of Batumi City Court, attended the meeting and addressed the participants.
The event was attended by pupils and students from various Batumi educational institutions. Audience members actively participated in the discussion. The speakers gave exhaustive responds to all of the participants' questions. The "Paralegal" project participants presented thorough information on the initiative, and discussed their experiences at the conclusion of the meeting.
