Today the LAS Adjara Bureau lawyers visited the City Assembly of Khelvachauri Municipality where they held a meeting with the employees of the local City Assembly, local Self-Administration and local bureau of the Parliament of Georgia.
The public lawyers informed the representatives of local administration about criteria necessary for receiving free legal aid and discussed legal needs of local population together.
The LAS regional bureaus periodically carry out meetings with representatives of the local administration to enable them to respond to legal needs of citizens and redirect beneficiaries to the relevant legal aid bureau.
Last year, more than 50 meetings were organized with representatives of local administration bodies and regional offices of Social Service Agency.
