The LAS Imereti-Kutaisi bureau continues to carry out on-site consultations in Imereti region.
On April 2, the sixth meeting was held with IDPs of collective settlement of Kutaisi. This time the public lawyers met with IDPs who live in Nikea Street N15, introduced them with conditions in order to receive legal aid and rendered consultation regarding different legal issues. The focus was made on rights of IDPs and on social allowance.
On April, the meeting was carried out in Mukhiani village, Tskhaltubo district. Together with rendering the consultation, the local population was explained that in order to receive legal aid they can visit the public center which operates in the neighbor village – Geguti where the LAS lawyer receives citizens. The service of rendering legal consultation at the public center has been implemented since February 12.
