Today the LAS Kakheti Bureau lawyers held a meeting with the employees of Kakheti Center of Social Service Agency.
In the framework of the meeting, two institutions discussed the cooperation issues on cases of persons with psycho-social needs (namely, recognition of a person as “support beneficiary”). The participants touched upon the issues of rendering free legal aid for vulnerable groups who are registered in the unified social database of the vulnerable families and defendants. The focus was made on the legislation novels in the field of combating domestic violence.
The LAS legal aid bureaus periodically carry out similar meetings in the territorial offices of Social Service Agency. The aim of such meetings is to raise awareness of the Agency employees so that they are able to redirect the citizens with legal problems to the relevant legal aid bureau.
