On February 19, the Mobile Consultation Center of the Legal Aid Service visited the villages of Baileti, Silauri and Jumati of Ozurgeti municipality. The representatives of Ozurgeti Legal Aid Bureau, Marina Kiknadze, Iamze Memarnishvili and Nino Gelacheishvili introduced the residents of the aforementioned villages with the free legal aid system operating in Georgia, as well as the LAS current services.
They discussed a variety of topics, including labour legislation, juvenile justice, domestic abuse, and violence against women. Information booklets were also given out. Following the meeting, every interested person received confidential one-on-one legal counselling in the mobile consulting center.
