On November 18, 2025, Nino Masurashvili, a consultant from the Gori Bureau of the Legal Aid Service, and Germane Aduashvili, an attorney, visited the villages of Kareli Municipality - Sagholasheni, Breti, and Dirbi, adjacent to the occupied zone.
At a meeting held at the Sagholasheni Public School, the lawyers introduced the services of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) directly related to the Code of Protection of the Rights of the Child and the Code of Juvenile Justice. They also answered the questions asked by the schoolchildren.
Meetings with the local population in Breti and Dirbi were held as part of the Legal Aid Service’s mobile consulting campaign. Public lawyers provided the population of both villages with information about the availability of free legal aid and the LAS current services.
Then, using the mobile consulting center, individual legal consultations were held in complete confidentiality.
The event was held with the support of the United Nations Development Program and the German Government.
The mobile information and consultation campaign in the Shida Kartli zone continues. Next week, our Service "mobile office" will arrive in the villages of Kaspi Municipality.
