Akhalkalaki hosted an informational meeting for the WISE project.
As part of the "Women's Initiative for Security and Equity" (WISE) project, the Akhalkalaki Local Action Group (LAG) arranged a meeting with Inga Gvaramadze, a Legal Aid Service representative, on November 14.
Young girls involved in the project attended the gathering. The meeting's primary objectives were for the attendees to become more acquainted with the Legal Aid Service (LAS) operations and to learn about the legal options available in cases of abuse against women and girls.
Participants actively discussed women's rights and legal procedures, voiced their opinions, and posed questions during the interactive discussion.
The project is being carried out in Akhalkalaki by the Local Action Group (LAG), with the support from the US Department of State and Mercy Corps Georgia.
