The Legal Aid Service (LAS) launched a mobile information campaign in Shida Kartli on November 4, 2025.
The Gori municipality villages of Kheltubani and Thortiza were visited by the representatives of the Gori Legal Aid Bureau. In addition to distributing information booklets, the lawyers met with the community members and gave them an overview of LAS current services.
The attorneys gave the villagers one-on-one legal counsel in the mobile consulting centre, a specially equipped minivan. The mobile consulting centre, as is well known, enables completely confidential sessions.
The Gori municipality villages will be the focus of the mobile information campaign this week and next, and by the end of the month, the Kaspi municipality's villages will be included.
Lawyers are available to meet with locals to discuss any legal issue that interests or concers them. Legal document preparation and drafting will also be available on the spot.
The LAS mobile consulting center was organized and equipped with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the German government. Accordingly, the events planned as part of the information campaign are also supported by the aforementioned organizations.
