On December 5, 2024, Roman Keidia, Head of t Zugdidi Bureau of the LEPL Legal Aid Service (LAS) together with representatives of the National Probation Agency, met with female probationers at Zugdidi House of Justice as part of the Campaign to end Violence Against Women".
The meeting was organized by the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-custodial Sentences and Probation. The discussion focused on the issues like violence against women and domestic violence, legal mechanisms for protection from violence, LAS activities and services. Roman Keidia provided the probationers with information on the Service’s past and current activities in the field of legal aid, and its future plans.
