Akhalkalaki LAS Consulting Center consultant, Inga Gvaramadze, and attorney of Akhaltsikhe legalaid bureau Tinatin Diakonashvili participated in an information campaign held in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region on June 14-28 of this year, aimed at raising the legal awareness of ethnic minorities representatives.
The campaign was organized by the office of the Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality. The meetings were held in a few localities: Diliski village public school of Akhalkalaki municipality and Baraleti Justice House, Khando and Kartikami public schools, Damala and Dadesh public schools in Aspindza district, Ninotsminda public school and Jigrasheni village Culture House.
Inga Gvaramadze introduced the LAS services to the local population, talked extensively about the issues of domestic violence against women, as well as the Child's Rights Code and juvenile justice. She gave one-on-one consultations to all interested individuals after the meeting ended.
