On August 24, the Legal Aid Service consulting center was opened in Samtredia. The director of the Service, Razhden Kuprashvili, the Mayor of Samtredia Municipality, Davit Bakhtadze and the head of the Kutaisi Bureau of the Legal Aid Service, Gela Siordia, took part in the opening.
Razhden Kuprashvili introduced the consultant Giorgi Gogitidze to the people attending. Giorgi will provide qualified consultations on any legal issue to the Kharagauli residents.
The office opening was followed by a meeting held with the gender equality council of the municipality, as well as with the children’s rights protection and support department, in which Giorgi Gogitidze, a consultant from the legal aid service, will be represented.
In the second half of the day, a meeting was held with the population, in the village of Didi Jikhaishi, Niko Nikoladze House Museum. Locals were informed about the aims and functions of the service, the use of free legal services and current projects
