On July 15, the LAS Zestaphoni Bureau lawyers held a meeting on domestic violence issues at Community Center in Korbouli village, Sachkhere distirct.
As a part of the meeting, the public lawyers informed the citizens about the protection mechanisms of victims of domestic violence, as well as measures of punishment envisaged for committing such violence. The locals has opportunity to receive consultation on other legal issues too.
The LAS regional bureaus periodically carry out information meetings with the aim to raise legal awareness of the society.
