The LAS Kakheti-Telavi Bureau lawyers held information meeting in Kisiskhevi Village, Telavi District.
As a part of the meeting, the public lawyers answered questions of the population about punishment established for domestic violence envisaged by the administrative and criminal legislation, about registration of the property at public registry, rules for selling the property considered by the legislation, exchange and purchase agreements, etc. The citizens were also informed about criteria for receiving free legal aid.
Legal Aid Bureaus periodically carry out the meetings with the aim to raise legal awareness of the population.
