On April 15-16, the LAS Telavi Bureau lawyers participated in on-site consultation held in Duisi, Tsinubani and Koreti villages, Akhemeta Municipality and organized by Innovation and Reforms Center and its partner organizations.
In the framework of the field consultation, the lawyers delivered legal consultation to the local citizens, persons with no citizenship, refugees and migrants on the following issues: registration of birth and other civil acts; receipt of documents confirming identification and place of residence; gaining citizenship of Georgia; other issues regarding citizenship and migration; protection of victims of domestic violence and human trafficking; registration of real estate; inheritance, alimony, contractual relations and other issues.
Together with Legal Aid Service and Innovation and Reformers Center, the following organizations participated in on-site consultation: Kakheti Regional Development Fund, UN Georgia Association and European Law and Human Rights International Law Institute.
The field consultation was carried out with support of UN High Commissionaire for Refugees and European Union.
