An information campaign for ethnic minorities is underway in the Kvemo Kartli region, organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Integration, and it actively involves the Rustavi Bureau of the Legal Aid Service and the Marneuli Consultation Center.
On June 27, meetings were held in the villages of Nazarlo and Karajalari of Gardabani Municipality. Consultants Lali Aludauri and Davit Jikia introduced the services of the Legal Aid Service to the Azeri population, also the criteria for receiving free legal aid, the issues of juvenile justice, the Code of the Rights of the Child, the issues of violence against women and domestic violence, as well as the rights of persons with disabilities.
Representatives of public service development and other social services also participated in the meetings. The special interest of the population was aroused by the Code of the Rights of the Child. Qualified consultation on all questions was provided by the Service Consultants.
