Legal Aid Service (LAS) Rustavi Legal Aid Bureau consultant Lali Aludauri and lawyers Madonna Mikeladze, Ia Yasaghashvili and Mariam Gelashvili are involved in a large-scale multi-component information campaign about state programs and services throughout Kvemo Kartli, which is being conducted under the direction and coordination of the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civil Equality.
As part of the campaign, the Service officials provide the representatives of ethnic minorities with information about the free legal system operating in Georgia and the LAS services.
Legal advice has been made available to the local populace as needed: on April 17, in the villages of Tsurtavi and Nakhiduri in the Bolnisi Municipality; on April 23, in the villages of Gardabani Municipality - in Kalinino and Kesalo; and on April 26, in the villages of Gardabani Municipality - in Mughanlo, Aktaklia, and Karataklia. The informational campaign will run through May's end.
