The LAS Mtskheta-Mtianeti Legal Aid Bureau covers the territories of Mtskheta, as well as Akhalgori, Dusheti, Tianeti and Kazbegi municipalities. The locals who reside far from the municipality center are not able to visit the LAS office in Mtskheta. That’s why Mtskheta Bureau representatives carry out local visits themselves and render consultations to the population who live in highland areas.
On October 16, 2018, at Kazbegi Municipality mayor’s office, head of the LAS Mtskheta-Mtianeti Bureau Aluda Buchukuri and the lawyer Natia Berdzenishvili held an information meeting and rendered consultations.
The purpose of the visit was to raise legal awareness and share the practice in order to solve a legal problem effectively.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive manner and it covered the following topics: LAS services, domestic violence and violence against women, registration of real estate, problems with land reform and other legal issues.
