Today the LAS Mtskheta-Mtianeti Bureau lawyers held information meetings in Akhatani and Bitsmendi villages, Mtskheta District.
The public lawyers informed local population about criteria necessary for receiving free legal aid and rendered consultations to them. Besides other issues, the lawyers explained to citizens how to register their lands and what conditions are for it. The public lawyers also talked about lifelong maintenance agreement and deed of gift.
The LAS regional bureaus and consultation centers periodically carry out similar meetings with the aim to raise legal awareness of population.
