On February 27, the officials of the Ozurgeti Legal Aid Bureau, accompanied by the Mobile Consulting Center of the Legal Aid Service, visited the village of Nigvziani, Lanchkhuti Municipality.
The residents were fully briefed by the attorneys on the legal aid services that are now offered, the registration process in the unified database for vulnerable families, domestic violence and abuse of women, juvenile justice, labour rights, etc.
In the mobile consulting centre, the locals received one-on-one consultations from attorneys, I. Memarnishvili and T. Zenaishvili, as well as legal help on a range of subjects of their interest.
As is already well known, the Legal Aid Service's "Mobile Consulting Centre" is a unique vehicle equipped with the necessary tools for one-on-one legal consultations and, if necessary, document production. The German government, Deutsche Botschaft Tiflis, the German Embassy in Tbilisi, provided support for the establishment and equipment of the Centre, as part of the UNDP Georgia project "Improving the Rule of Law and Access to Justice for All".
