On October 9, a consultative meeting on violence against women and domestic violence was held in the village of Orsantia, Zugdidi Municipality, as part of the UN Security Council Resolutions action plan on Women, Peace and Security.
The meeting was attended by Roman Keidia, Head of the Zugdidi Legal Aid Bureau, who introduced the services of the Legal Aid Service against women and domestic violence.
The meeting was organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Integration and was also attended by representatives of the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Agency for Victims and Victims of Trafficking.
