On April 27, 2024, Shota Meskhiia Zugdidi State Educational University hosted an interactive exhibition of support services for persons with disabilities, organized by "MacGeorgia and Zugdidi Independent Center.
The participants included disabled people and their families, organizations and specialists that serve the disabled population, as well as members of the general public, interested in the issues related to the people with special needs, educational needs among others.
At the meeting, the organizations got acquainted with the activities of partner and neighboring service providers in the Samegrelo region, which allows for the deepening of their mutual cooperation, on both regional and the nation scale.
Roman Keidia, head of the Legal Aid Service Zugdidi Bureau, and attorney Zviad Kobalava attended the discussion. R. Keidia gave the attending public an introduction to the various kinds of legal aid services, and activities pertaining to the disabled community. The meeting was followed by an interactive exhibition.
