On June 2, the LAS Akhaltsikhe Bureau and Akhaltsikhe Consultation Center lawyers held information meeting on domestic violence issues for the students of Professional College of Javakheti.
The public lawyers talked with students about rights of victims of domestic violence, as well as legal responsibility established for perpetrators. The focus was made on free advocacy service of Legal Aid Service which is accessible for victims of domestic violence.
Raising legal awareness on domestic violence issues is one of the priorities of Legal Aid Service.
