On April 4, the LAS Poti Bureau lawyers held a meeting with employees of Poti Civil Unit of Social Service Agency.
The issues of protection of persons with psycho-social needs (support beneficiaries) and problems with protection of rights of children were discussed at the meeting. The participants touched upon appointment of living allowances and granting rating point to a family, as well as compensation for persons recognized as victims of political repressions and for their heirs of the first rang.
The LAS legal aid bureaus periodically carry out similar meetings in the territorial offices of Social Service Agency. The aim of such meetings is to raise awareness of the Agency employees so that they are able to redirect the citizens with legal problems to the relevant legal aid bureau.
