After the village Mikeltskaro, the lawyers of Shida Kartli Bureau of Legal Aid Service held information meetings in two villages of Kaspi Municipality with Azeri language speaking population: on June 1, the meeting was held in the village Aghaiani, while on June 6, in the village Ferma.
In the course of the meeting, the Legal Aid lawyers informed local population on the issues of the protection of the rights of victims of domestic violence and women’s rights. The public was also informed about the terms and conditions of enjoyment of free Legal Aid.
The LAS regional bureaus periodically carry out similar activities in order to raise legal awareness of the population.
