Today, an introductory seminar was held for 10 students of law faculty of A. Tsereteli State University at the LAS Kutaisi bureau. These students have started a 4-month internship in the framework of the law clinic.
The interns got introduced with specifics of work of the public lawyers and reforms made in Legal Aid Service. According to the law clinic program, interns will undergo a preparatory course of theory and work on real criminal cases, as well as carry out mock trials.
Criminal Law Clinic operates in the LAS Kutaisi bureau since 2008. Up to 70 students have undergone the internship in the bureau during this period.
