On 24 July, Razhden Kuprashvili, the director of the Legal Aid Service, hosted UNICEF director Ghassan Khalil, and other representatives at the LAS counsultation centre in Duisi, Pankisi region.
Razhden Kuprashvili introduced LAS projects and reforms concerning the Children’s Rights.
Ghassan Khalil was impressed by the work performed by the public advocates and the involvement of the Legal Aid Service in the protection of children’s rights in Georgia. UNICEF confirmed that it will provide financial support to create a child-friendly environment in the LAS offices and will also promote the protection of the children’s rights, including raising their legal awareness.
