On June 12, an information meeting was held in the village of Ditsi, Gori Municipality, for women and girls affected by the conflict. The event was organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Gori Legal Aid Bureau, Giorgi Jeiranashvili, and consultant Nino Masurashvili, who introduced the services of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) to the attendees. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of receiving legal assistance on issues related to women abuse and domestic violence.
As part of the meeting, the local population received information on current legal issues relevant to them and were also provided with individual legal consultations.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs also participated in the event.
