On October 8, Razden Kuprashvili, Director of the Legal Aid Service, and Merab Khalvashi, Rector of the Batumi State University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
Under the memorandum, the Legal Aid Service will provide the necessary material and technical resources for conducting lectures and practical courses for the students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and will contribute to the successful implementation of the conditions provided in the syllabus of the relevant training course, promote the cooperation in the process of developing and updating educational programs; As to the University Law Faculty graduates, they will undergo probation at the Batumi Legal Aid Bureau.
In its turn, the University undertakes to appoint a person- faculty management manager who will be authorized to supervise the teaching and practical course implementation process and assist the practitioner in clarifying issues related to the full implementation of the "training course"; University students will be actively involved in the implementation of legal awareness projects conducted by the Legal Aid Service.
