There was conducted distance training on "Admissibility of Evidence in Criminal Proceedings."

On February 23, within the framework of the  USAID PROLoG grant, there was conducted distance training on "Admissibility of Evidence in Criminal Proceedings." The training was led by the Tbilisi City Court Judge Badri Kochlamazashvili.

The training considered the following issues: Obtaining evidence by the defense party; The peculiarity of questioning a witness in court; The Cross-examination methodology; Permissibility of indirect testimony; Inadmissible evidence; Case law review; Prejudice; Depreciable material evidence and more.

The training was attended by the lawyers and consultants from the regional bureaus and the counseling centers of the Legal Aid Service, as well as invited public registry lawyers. The training was conducted with the active involvement of the participants.

Due to the current situation, the Legal Aid Service continues to conduct training and upgrade the qualifications of its employees.
