Students of Alambari school got acquainted with the services of the service

On March 16, meetings with paralegals were organized for public school children in Alambri village of Kobuleti municipality. The paralegals introduced the children to the current issues arising from the Code of Children's Rights, as well as reviewed the mechanisms of preventing violence against women.

The students got actively involved in the meeting. They were presented various services initiated by the Legal Aid Service (LAS). We would like to mention again that within the "Paralegal" project scope, non-lawyers, having passed the training program planned by the LAS, provide primary legal consultation to the population, that is of particular importance for raising the legal awareness of society and ensuring effective access to justice for each person. We thank the USAID Rule of Law Program for the project funding and the significant support.
