The training "Introduction to Mediation" was provided in Kutaisi with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program for Legal Aid Service consultants on March 21-22, and for public attorneys - on March 24-26. Experts Sofio Chachava and Sofio Tkemaladze led the training and spoke in-depth about the essence and standards of mediation, the mediator's role, the benefits of mediation, the current legal landscape, the assessment of the client's substantive and procedural interests, mandatory and voluntary mediation, and the psychology of entering negotiation. Director of Legal Aid Service Davit Simonia discussed the ivalue of training and its active implementation in legal practice. All the participants were actively involved in the training.
