The director of Legal Aid Service, Mr. Meliton Benidze, together with the Georgian professionals working on human rights issues, continues his visit in the United States of America.
In the framework of the visit, the Georgian delegation will become familiar with the American experience and skills how to ensure access to justice. The focus will be made on such issues as cooperation with the state funded organizations, non-governmental organizations and private advocacy firms in order to render free legal aid to the vulnerable groups of society.
The program of the visit is very broad. The participants will visit several states of the US and will have meetings with the representatives of the various organizations.
