On December 15, in Zugdidi. Levan Gvenetadze, Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service, attended the meeting "Increasing the awareness of the displaced community on legal issues and services" held with the support of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and convened by the Office of the Minister of Justice and Civil Integration of Abkhazia.
The meeting objectives were to support the provision of legal issues and civil integration of persons displaced from Abkhazia and now living legitimately in the occupied territories of Abkhazia, to raise awareness of existing legal services, to enhance the cooperation of government agencies and non-governmental organizations in terms of legal assistance to displaced persons.
Levan Gvenetadze informed the assembled audience about the Legal Aid Service offers, which are accessible to both residents of the occupied territory and those who have been displaced from Abkhazia.
